Each week Weed and Seed personnel determine which important problems in our neighborhood needs to be addressed and who they need to be referred to. A list is made of problem criminals, drug houses, road hazards, health concerns, suspected drug activity, traffic problems, and of course criminal activity. These items are placed on what we call a HOT-SHEET. A Hot Sheet is basically our list of priority concerns for the MLK area. Every time the Chattanooga Police start a Weed N Seed shift, they address each of the Hot Sheet areas and try to solve the problem. Sometimes it takes several days, or weeks of police intervention to solve the problem.

Who controls what is on the Hot Sheet?.. You do!. The Hot Sheet is generated from the observations of residents who are concerned about certain parts of the MLK neighborhood. By filling out the below form, your submission will be added to the Hot Sheet for this week. You can also make recommendations, and report any crime which you believe may be present. Just check, or type in the problem or concern you may have below and then click the submit button below. You may remain anonymous if you prefer, but if you would like to leave your name and phone number or address, we could contact you for more information, or to let you know the problem has been addressed and solved.
